Laughing at someone who gives a wrong answer is not polite. Remember, we are all in school to learn so we don’t always know the right answer first.

New ideas deserve respect. For example, when Henry Ford had the “new idea” of a motorized car, do you think his friends ever dreamed of the Ford Motor Company as it is today?!

Good manners respect our emotional differences. Respect and CELEBRATE our different thoughts and ideas. We are emotionally different and we need to respect this in each person.

Good manners respect our different physical challenges – such as sight, movement, speaking, etc. Our former United States president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, spent most of his life in a wheelchair, and he was one of our most respected presidents.
