Course Description The course will start with the basics in drawing. The discovery of how the brain deciphers information will lead each student to an understanding of how they see the world and how drawing is a special skill that can be developed. The student will then explore linear and optical perspective. One, two, and three point perspective drawings will be produced using fictitious and real objects and places.

Deadlines for Assignments Each assignment will have a deadline. If a student misses a deadline for an in-class assignment, then one letter grade will be subtracted for every day (not class) it is late. After four days the assignment will not be accepted and the student will receive a 0. Out-of–class assignments or participation points will not be accepted for credit beyond the deadline. In other words, late homework is not accepted.
