Example for 12 Volt – 1100 Watt Exeltech 1100 watts/.85 (efficiency) = 1294 DC watts 1294 DC watts / 10.4 volts (cut-off voltage) = 124 amps 124 amps/.80 = 155 amps 2/0 THW in conduit has ampacity of 175 amps Need DC rated breaker between 155 & 175 amps 2/0 & 175 amp breaker
