Direction des Systèmes d’Observation 3rd VOS-TAG meeting 20/21 March 2006 The French VOS Programme is made of 64 selected ships (1st march 2006) 6 of them are dedicated to the VOS-Clim project -41 are equipped with a BATOS AWS (version 1 or 2) -2 with a Mini-BATOS AWS -7 with a MINOS AWS -2 are until equipped with old POMMAR stations -12 with standard materials (6 using TurboWin)

Direction des Systèmes d’Observation 3rd VOS-TAG meeting 20/21 March 2006 Expected evolution for 2006/2008 The « BATOS » version 3 AWS is now available for the EUCOS-Surfmar Programme members. The equipment of 7 ships with « BATOS 2 » and 2 ships with MINOS is expected, per year by Météo-France
