- The Walt Disney Company is established on October 16, 1923 by brothers Walt Disney and Roy Disney - This is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in the world - Divisions: film studio, ABC broadcast television network, cable television networks, theme parks HISTORY

Animatronics and Show Design - Disney has been the pioneer in the field of automated show elements. The competency in animatronics performs many characters in animation: singing Country Bears and Tiki birds to pirates and ghosts and even restaurant entertainment such as like Sonny Eclipse at WDW. Animatronics and Show Design - Customers seem to value this corporate ability: Pirates of the Caribbean is still popular after 30 years. - Disney’s competitors haven’t been able to catch up: Disney’s 20 and 30-year-old animatronic efforts are usually much better than other company’s more recent efforts

Storytelling, Story Creation and Themed Atmospheric Attractions Storytelling, Story Creation and Themed Atmospheric Attractions - There are many shows of film which is based on the stories like: Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones or Space Mountain and Big Thunder. - This isn’t necessarily an investment in technology like animatronics, but this is animportant investment of The Walt Disney company in raising the market and income. Storytelling, Story Creation and Themed Atmospheric Attractions Storytelling, Story Creation and Themed Atmospheric Attractions -These films is evaluated highly and make strong impression in audiences. In addition, these films bring back to company a large amount of money. - It is difficult for the Disney’s competitors can imitate and make films that have a high effect on the public mind as Disney company do.

Efficient operation of theme parks - Here’s another area Disney pioneered. They were the inventors who run efficient modern theme park and reach (for its time) entirely new levels of cleanliness, safety and productivity while giving a uniformly high-quality entertainment experience to very large numbers of people. Efficient operation of theme parks - Some of Disney’s innovations here can be copied (like keeping things clean), but it is hard for the competition to duplicate all that knowledge. - These theme parks have a big attraction of people all over the world and the majority of people feel sastisfied when they go to the theme parks and participate the events of these.
