In different cultures there are different ideas on how women and men should behave to be honourable.

8. Consequenses Above mentioned acts are very serious crimes against human rights. European union has committed to guarantee human rights to everyone on EU area. This demands the acknowledge of the human related violence, understanding about the mechanism of honour-related violence and purposeful acts and tools in order to stop honour-related violence.
