11  Requirements:  At least a masters degree  5-7 years of specialized experience  Learn two official languages of the united nations; one must be English  Official languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish  Suggestions:  Work for a US agency for several years prior – its more field work  Ex. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  The UN is more advocacy work – dealing with foreign governments WORK FOR THE UNITED NATIONS
