Natural Light First light source to consider. Sunlight that enters the house through windows, doors, skylights, etc. North or East— Cool light- So adding warm colors –seem to balance the cool light South or West—Provide more Sun later in the day: Warm, orange tones. Adding neutral or cool colors to these rooms will make them seem more calm and relaxed.

Fluorescent Lighting Lasts up to ten times longer than an incandescent bulb. Use less electricity and produce no damaging heat. Not so soft, or not so homey and comfortable as incandescent bulbs. They are normally used in offices and other work places. Compact fluorescent bulb- Larger than a regular incandescent bulb, but screws into a regular light bulb socket. +They are very efficient
