GSM sites Cooling systems description Standard Air Conditioner SystemEmergency Cooling SystemEnergy Saving Cooling System Air Conditioner Cooling system – is standard cooling system which uses split system for cooling of all equipment inside of system room. Main task – permanent cooling of room Consumed power 1 – 2 kW/h Life time 2 – 7 years Emergency Cooling system – is FAN cooling system, which has emergency application and mainly used for overheating protection of equipment inside of system room. Main task – overheating protection Consumed power 0 - 30 Watt/h Life time >5 years Energy saving Cooling system – is combined cooling system which proposes Energy saving, Air conditioner life time increase Overheating protection. Main task – energy saving and overheating protection Consumed power 30 Watt/h Life time >5 years

Eco Cooling System general description and Advantages Eco Cooler – is energy saving solution with adaptive emergency cooling function for GSM sites (container/system room types). Eco Cooler provides the universal low-cost algorithm of system room cooling which realizes the next main ADVANTAGES: Energy saving. The Cooler control unit provides the cooling of system room by way of choosing the optimal “Cooling Device” on the base of the following “Inside” and “Outside” room temperature. Thus, if outside temperature less than required inside temperature the Eco Cooler provides cooling by Fan Cooler. In this case System will have consumed power of cooling system less more then 40 times. For the standard container BTS site with split Air Conditioner system 1200 BTU the consumed power by cooling system in one hour consist approximately 1 kW thus in case of usage Eco Cooler we will have economy 20 – 24 kW per day or 600 – 720 kW in month in winter time (outside temperature near zero). Air Conditioner life time increasing. As a result of usage of additional cooling system (Fan Cooler) the Eco Cooler provides the life time increasing for the standard Air Conditioner. According to calculation in case of Eco Cooler usage, the life time of Air Conditioner will be increased up to 30%. Besides, in winter time when outside temperature less then -5°C the usage of standard split Air Conditioner has in result increased wear-out of mechanical part of Air Conditioner (mainly compressor). Thus Eco Cooler usage assists in protection of Air Conditioner during the winter time and we will have extra lifetime increasing. Equipment overheating protection. The Eco Cooler provides adaptive emergency cooling function which realizes the emergency cooling of container in case of AC power absence or malfunctions of the main cooling system (Air conditioner or Cooler Fan). Thus in case of Eco Cooler usage we will have BTS and Empower equipment overheating protection and backup batteries overheating protection that will allow to increase time to their life.

Emergency Cooler system Unit description At the initial stage we suggest to use simple version of Eco Cooler – Emergency Cooler. This system will carry out functions of Emergency ventilation and cooling provision in case of absence AC power or malfunctions of the Air conditioner (overheating protection). Control unit of Emergency Cooler executes continuous checking of temperature inside of system room and in case of overheating it will switch “ON” Fan cooler (placed inside of system room) for emergency cooling. Emergency Cooler provides next main positive functions: 1.BTS overheating protection. 2.Backup battery overheating protection, thus provides battery's life time increase. 3.Has the same platform with Full Eco Cooler and because of this can be upgraded up to the Full Eco Cooler in future. Basic characteristics: -Operating Voltages: 24- 60 V (DC) (connection to EmPower) -Cooler Fan Airflow: 550.0 CFM (max) 15.6 m3/min. -Use one “1-Wire” digital thermometers for inside temperature measurement. -Measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. -Power supply max. - 30 Watts. In idle mode < 1Watt. -Has one external alarm “Overheating”. -Has internal diagnostic and “Error” indication. -Emergency mode activation temperature +26°C (programmable) -Emergency mode deactivation temperature +22°C (programmable)

Energy Saving Cooler system Unit algorithm Eco Cooler has 5 operation modes: Normal/Idle – in this mode Air Conditioner and Cooler Fan are switched “OF”. Inside temperature rate is enough for equipment’s normal work Normal/Fan – in this mode Air Conditioner is switched “OF” cooling is performed by Cooler Fan. Normal/AC – in this mode Cooler Fan is switched “OF” cooling is performed by Air Conditioner. Emergency/Fan – this mode appears in case when the system works in Normal/Fan mode and Airflow from cooler fan not enough for cooling. Emergency/AC – this mode appears in case when the system works in Normal/AC mode and cooling from Air Conditioner not enough for normal temperature inside of room or AC is broken. Eco Cooler has 3 main programmable constant : AC const – Air Conditioner preset temperature (can be checked from AC remote control) UL const – Up limit constant of inside room temperature for emergency mode (+26°C by default) Tout const – Up limit constant of outside temperature for Normal/Fan mode (+18°C by default) t in – temperature inside of container t out – outside temperature t in < AC const ? 22 o C Check Mode Norm/FanNorm/Idle Fan = OFF AC = OFF Yes No t in > UL const ? 26 o C No Yes Check Mode Norm/Fan Norm/AC Other Emer/Fan Fan = ON AC = ON Emer/AC Fan = ON AC = ON Other Check ModeEmer/Fan t in < AC const +1? 23 o C Yes Fan = OFF No Other t out Tout const ? 18 o C No Yes Norm/AC Fan = OFF AC = ON Norm/Fan Fan = ON AC = OFF Begin Fan = OFF AC = OFF Emergency Mode Normal Mode t out < AC const ? 22 o C No Yes
