Contact Info Form and Emergencies Keep a copy with you at all times. Give a copy to a trusted friend/family member to leave at home. Evacuation Procedures – List of Closest Embassies – You are all registered through the U.S. Dept. of State. HTH Insurance (www.hthworldwide.com/) – Cards were handed out last week in class. Prior to leaving, review the web site so you are familiar with the insurance policies. Rule – e-mail Megan with any travel plans OUTSIDE of Curitiba during the official program dates.

Communication in Brazil Keep lines of communication OPEN! Peers, Megan, UFPR Students & Staff. Have a communication plan with HOME!

Other Logistics Remember to journal 4 times per week. Work on Action Plan Project continuously. Enrolled in a course at UFPR. Portuguese class attendance – will be counted towards ED 590 attendance/participation grade. RULES 1. Ana Maria is in charge in Brazil. 2. E-mail Megan for travel outside of Curitiba. (Location, dates, where you are staying, etc.) 3. Always stay with a “buddy” OR let someone else (roommates?!) know where you are at all times. 4. NO Favelas. 5. Cars have the right of way. Be a smart pedestrian. =
