Isaiah 9:6 -- For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Peace Romans 8:6 -- The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. Galatians 5:22 -- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,….

8. The Gospel is the Gospel of Peace Ephesians 2:17 -- He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. James 3:18 -- Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.

12. Spiritual War and Peace John 16:33 -- I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Jesus overcame so that we can have peace. Jesus left His peace with us. He intends that we will live lives of peacefulness.

13. Jesus Came to Bring A Sword Matthew 10:34 -- "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. But what is it for?But what is it for?

14. Our War Against Satan As we defeat Satan, we gain peace. Satan breeds chaos, turmoil and confusion. God brings peace out of chaos.

15. 1 Corinthians 14:33 – For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. 1 Peter 3:10-11 -- For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.

16. How Much Do We Want Peace? “One of the most persistent ambiguities that we face is that everybody talks about peace as a goal. However, it does not take sharpest-eyed sophistication to discern that while everybody talks about peace, peace has become practically nobody’s business among the power-wielders. Many men cry Peace! Peace! but they refuse to do the things that make for peace.” Martin Luther King, Jr.

17. Will we talk peace? Or will we make peace and live in peace? Real Christians are Peaceful!
