How kings where crowned Do you know how kings where crowned well I will tell you. Some times if necessary they would fight in war. The pope the head of the Christian Church and also the leader crowned the king. A king was also crowned in a extravagant ceremony called a coronation. This ceremony also showed that the king was chosen by god. It was the kings duty to protect the church. Kings were sometimes crowned cruelly but sometimes not.

Kings at war Almost all kings led their best knights into war so they would survive. They would check all his fighters before they went to war with another kingdom. But one out of two would stay alive in the fight. If all of their knights were not alive at the end of the war the king would surrender. If they did not make it they would let their oldest sibling with their kingdom and the throne. Isn’t medieval times a cruel time.

The wealthiest and most powerful king would check many times so there are no problems at a castle. They would have a large feast to celebrate on important occasions. After they were done chores they would play chess and backgammon. It is very tiring but after you are done you get to play!!!!
