Rubric 1 Example for Human and Environmental Interactions: Humans on the Environment in Abbotsford. Example1: Humans have cleared land for new housing in many areas. An example of this is the community of Auguston. Auguston was heavily forested and had many animals living in the area. To settle the area these animals had to leave to other areas. The implications would be that trees were cut down, land was levelled and plants removed. This would not only change the look of the land but also cause severe environmental damage to all of plants and animals.

Rubric 1 Example for Environmental impact on Humans in Abbotsford: The city of Abbotsford experienced a drought in the summer of 2015 this drought was caused by extremely dry weather conditions that affected the citizens in many ways. For example watering was banned for almost all purposes and people were encouraged to conserve water.
