3. Esther: Save Your Friends Feast given by King Ahasuerus - 1:10-22 The King orders Queen Vashti to display her beauty before the guests - 1:10-22 He then decides to find another queen - 2:1-18 Mordechai saves the King’s life - 2:19-23 Haman’s plan to kill all Jews - 3:1-15

4. Esther: Save Your Friends Fasting and Prayer - 4:1-17 Queen talks to the king - 5:1-4 King honors Mordechai - 6:1-14 Esther reveals she is a Jew - 7:1-10 Jews can defend themselves - 8:1-9:19 Mordechai starts Feast of Purim - 9:20-10:3

5. She Realized the Danger The Jews were facing death  Face the wrath of God – Rom. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:8-9; Jn. 3:36 What about our friends?  Face spiritual death – Rom. 5:12; Rom. 6:23; Rev. 20:11-15; Rev. 21:7-8

7. Three Point Sermon Point 2: Most of You Act Like You Do Not Give a (insert a curse word)! Point 1: Most of Your Friends Are LOST! Point 3: Most of You are more upset over what I said in Point 2 than You are the Condition of Those in Point 1!

9. She Did What Was Needed She left her comfort zone – Es. 4:4-12; 1 Cor. 9:22 She asked & used the help of others – 1 Cor. 3:6-8; Jn. 4:35  Mordechai reminds her that she was a Jew - Es. 4:13-17  If we do nothing then we will be lost also - Jas 4:17
