5 On The Spot Promos This was the 1 st On The Spot Promo assignment: This promo is valid between Sat 04/20/13 – Sat 05/04/13. Create an eye catching sign; use your Facebook page to post it onto the Relay For Life of Magic Island Facebook Page ; encourage your friends and family to visit our event page and “Like” your post. Here are the ways you can win points: 1) The most creative sign will win 10 points. 2) The top 3 teams with the most likes will win 10 points each. 3) If your post hits over 50 likes – you will earn an additional 10 points! Your sign should be in the following format: Go (Your Team Name) Relay For Life of Magic Island 2013 “Like My Status” and I can earn points towards my team goal #rflmagicisland2013 Kulani

6 On The Spot Promos Here was the 2 nd On The Spot Promo assignment: This promo is valid between Sat 05/04/13 – Sat 05/18/13. Take a picture of your Mother’s Day festivities and post it onto the Relay For Life of Magic Island Facebook Page; You should be holding a sign with your team name on it featuring mom. Your caption should read – “Moms LOVE Relay For Life of Magic Island!” with hashtag #rflmagicisland2013. Every team that does so wins 20 points! Facebook: Relay For Life of Magic Island Here was the 3rd On The Spot assignment: This promo is valid between Sat 05/04/13 – Fri 05/31/13. Hold a Luminaria Bag Decorating Party. Take a picture of the event with one team member holding up a sign of your Team Name. Post it to the Relay For Life of Magic Island Twitter Page with hashtag #rflmagicisland2013. Every Team that does so wins 10 points! If you attach a second picture with an up close shot of a Luminaria decorated with your team name – you win an additional 10 points! Make sure to include hashtag #rflmagicisland2013 Twitter: magicislandhi Kulani

7 On The Spot Promos Here was the 4th On The Spot Assignment This promo is valid between Sat 05/11/13 – Wed 06/19/13. If you are a registered 2013 Team for the event and bring in a Brand New Team – you will win 50 points for the referral. You can win an additional 50 points if the New Team Registration is done by Fri 05/31/13. That’s 100 possible points! Any New Team registration between Sat 06/01/13 – Wed 06/19/13 will still be eligible for the original 50 points. We would need an email from you to advise us about the New Team that will be registering Kulani

8 New Stack Ranking Review of New Stack Ranking and how it relates to July 2 nd meeting for Campsite Selection (Pass out to Team Captains) Kulani

9 Joyce Review City & County Ordinance Signature Page This must be completed, signed and turned in by July 2 nd Team Captain Meeting Tshirt Pickup for July 2 nd Team Captain Meeting (pick up/sign out in Waiting Room area between 6:00pm-6:30pm/ 7:00pm – 8:00pm. This can also be picked up at the July 16 th Team Captain Meeting July 2 nd and July 16 th Team Captain Meetings are also Bank Night. Any monies turned in after July 16 th will be credited as a General Team donation and not towards the individual. Relay Updates

10 Kanoa Logistic/Campsite Layout (Distribute): Please take back to your team and highlight 5 different choices in 5 different areas in preparation for the July 2 nd Team Captain Meeting. Based on Final Stack Ranking – teams will be called one on one into the Waiting Room. You will have up to 3 minutes to decide which campsite you want. Tent Vendor Information. You can contact the Tent Vendor for pricing and reservation. General Parking: Ala Moana Parking bottom level Makai side will be available from Sat 11am on. All Cars must have a Parking Pass. These will be passed out at the July 16 th Team Captain meeting. Reserved Parking: 50 parking stalls to be awarded at July 16 th TC Meeting. This will be based off the Top 50 teams via the Relay Rewards system. Numbers will be pulled 10pm the night before. Relay Updates

11 Kanoa Curbside Assistance: Volunteers will be able 11am on to assist you. Please make sure you have items marked with a sign that has 1) Your Team Name and 2) Your Campsite #. You can still unload and set up your tent items before 11am. There wouldn’t be assistance and you would be responsible for your items. Food Selling at RFLMI – Make sure you download the Department of Health form, complete the process and have your permit ready for day of the event. Entertainment/Activities: Please distribute Discuss Surveys: Pre Event and Post Event Relay Updates

12 Kanoa Format for July 2 nd TC Meeting: - Register - Bank Night – turn in monies - Pick up Tshirts in Waiting Room Area - Check into Conference Room - Pre-Event Surveys to be passed out for completion - City & County Ordinance Page distributed and collected - Sign Up Sheet for On Site Fundraisers and Activities - Wait to be called for Campsite Selection Relay Updates

13 Kanoa Check- In information for RFLMI July 20th - Team Captains: Check in to the Registration Tent for your welcome packet; pick up Tshirts; sign up for Relay Games - Visit Finance Tent to turn in monies - Visit Luminaria Tent for luminaria - Visit Survivor/Caregiver Tent (registration time at 5pm) - Organize your team for Opening Ceremonies (start time 6pm) - Parade of Teams at 6:30pm PARADE OF TEAMS: Team Captains report to main stage at 6:20pm. Each team choose no more than 5 team members to represent them holding Team Sign. Team Captain will introduce team as they start the lap Relay Updates
