Our initial goal: simple and easy way of making people understand sustainability

Our findings Everybody knows about recycling No too much people do recycling in Dundee The recycling bins are not easily accessible. It is need to educate people on waste reduction

The story of Jim and the van
20
The van arrives in Jim’s neighbourhood, making a noise to announce its presence.

Jim hears the noise.

A girl passing by informs him of this new van, Trash for treasure, collecting unwanted items, recycling them, or giving them to charities.

Jim looks for more information on Facebook, Twitter.

Jim received the calendar and map of the van´s stops. This makes Jim happy.

20 minutes later… Jim´s tyre is flat. This makes Jim sad.

Jim goes to the nearest Trash for treasure van. He learns how to fix his bike and is provided the tools.

Now Jim´s tyre is fixed and he learnt a new skill. Next time, he can fix it himself !

Jim informs his neighbour, and spread the word.
