Background In March 1997, Board adopted an ordinance establishing official seals and logos for the County. – Ordinance included official seals and logos of the Board of County Commissioners, County Chairman, and County Government. Some seals are registered. – Over time the seals and logos required updates Title change in 2004 from County Chairman to County Mayor. – Preserving the integrity of the seals and logos is important in day to day use.

Proposed Amendments Section 2-3, Orange County Code, amended: – The color, black & white, and gray scale copy of each seal is included within the text of the ordinance so that the seals and logos will be codified at Municode.com; – The County Mayor’s seal is updated; – Horizontal and line County Government logos are included in the text of ordinance; and – A graphic for the Orange TV logo is included.
