3 Sail Army! Mission TF - 385 (385 th TC BN and assigned units) conducts terminal operations in support of the deployment of Operation Iraqi Freedom II (OIF II) and redeployment of Operation Iraqi Freedom I (OIF I) forces at the port of Ash Shuaibah from 14 February 2004 until further notice.

4 Sail Army! Commander’s Intent I intend for TF-385 to conduct sustained marine terminal operations Roll-on / Roll-Off (RO / RO), Lift-On / Lift-Off (LO / LO) and marshalling activities in support of deployment and redeployment forces for OIF.

5 Sail Army! Commander’s Intent To ensure success, all leaders and soldiers must meet the following critical tasks: 1. Accurately assess risks, and take necessary actions to control the risks 2. Maintain full and accurate accountability of equipment discharged or uploaded 3. Communicate status changes and new information quickly and correctly

6 Sail Army! Commander’s Intent We measure success by accomplishing all mission requirements to the approved standard, with no serious injuries, and with less than 0.1% damage rate to pieces moved.

Task Organization 251 st CTC Mission:  Provide C2 for the PSA and the Maintenance Support Team  On order (O/O) provide MHE support as tasked  (O/O) provide drivers for the Port Support Activity (PSA)  Provide C2 and personnel to operate the rinse rack  Provide C2 and personnel to support R&R bus coordination (Camp Doha)

Task Organization NAVELSF Forward Port B Mission:  Provide Command and Control (C2) for the deployment, redeployment and overflow yards  Provide prime movers to move equipment to and from the yards and the pier, responsible for yard signage and traffic directional markers  Conduct 24 hour crane/vessel discharge and upload (LO/LO) operations,  Provide soldiers as ramp safeties and ground guides

Task Organization NAVELSF Forward Port B Mission  Provide C2 for the container yard  Provide personnel to conduct 24-hour vessel discharge and upload (RO/RO)  Provide hourly discharge and upload counts to the 385th Tactical Operations Center (TOC)  Be Prepared To (BPT) provide prime movers to load trailers on the vessels  Provide Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to offload equipment in the redeployment yard

15 Sail Army! Task Organization (ADCON) 481 st TC, LCU (KNB) Mission: Intra-theater watercraft support to CFLCC Personnel Strength:  32 (OFF: 5 ENL: 27 FEM: 3) Key Equipment: LCU 2000 (2)

16 Sail Army! 481 st TC, Det. 1 2 LCU 2000 Crews deployed from Mare Island, CA through Fort Eustis, VA Deploy 10 Jan 2004 for a 1 Year tour at KNB. Replacements will be from Home Station. Operations are expected to go through FY05.

17 Sail Army! 481 st TC, Det. 1 Conducted over 75 Missions in FY04 Transported over 7500 tons of Cargo in FY04 Conducted operations in Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and Iraq. Provided security operations for the Navy and MSC. Supported US Coast Guard operations.
