Dramatic Foil …a character who contrasts with another character (usually the protagonist) in order to highlight particular qualities of the other character The word foil comes from the old practice of backing gems with foil in order to make them shine more brightly

Directions for Foil Paper Plate Draw a Yin Yang shape on your paper plate Choose one of the character foils from Romeo and Juliet and place them on either side of the Yin Yang List 6+ examples/adjectives that show the contrast in characterization (you may use your Character Directory!)
