www.transitionmathproject.org Select Responses Creating lessons aimed at CRS enabled me to focus on the core of the lesson and direct the learning to a more focused point. Teacher Our connection with the faculty at Shoreline Community College would be non-existent. We have also been able to view other projects that people are doing and add it to our work. Math TOSA The alliances with regional 9-16 math faculty has proven to be very valuable in many aspects. The greatest asset is our united desire to address and improve student success transitioning to the college level regarding math. Through this grant we have had time and resources (limited) to address the concern and develop a plan to implement change in our high school with the hope of rolling it out to other area high schools. Teacher
17
www.transitionmathproject.org Select Responses Has honed my skill in preparing learning activities and assessment tools that are very specific related to the college readiness standards. I have more exciting and challenging lessons that engage my learners more. Teacher Due to my work with TMP, I have moved to a more collaborative approach to teaching. Collecting data and analyzing what my students have learned with other teachers. Teacher Without TMP, I would not have been exposed to the Professional Teaching and Learning Cycle and I would not have had experience in student-friendly learning targets. I would not have had the breadth or depth of experience with formative assessment strategies. Teacher
