8 Survey Results (Question 2): What portion did you find MOST valuable Q2. Selected Comments Lots of useful information from knowledgeable people. I left with renewed energy and new ideas for my agency The effort to get State Agency Management aware of accessibility issues (Disappointed my agency mgmt did not come although registered The intent of getting management on board by helping them understand the importance of and the factors involved in EIR Accessibility. The subject matter. Several questions were answered during the conference. As a result, I have a clearer path to implementing accessibility at my agency. The value I derived from attending the event was a broader understanding of what my role should be within our organization. I also realized that there is still much to do in educating my colleagues in accessibility. This conference helped our IRM understand that more needs done at our agency.

9 Survey Results (Question 3): What portion did you find LEAST valuable Q3. Selected Comments Accessibility Make sure the webinar client works ahead of time. Perhaps let people test it in advance so they can decide whether or not to physically attend. All is importantOutlaw powerpoint and screen presenters and presentations for quality Everything was valuable and don't have a "Least" … Procurement which was my interest, but didn't really share practical application - examples etc… Find a more stable webinar tool.Sharing the output of testing Higher education would address accessibility in a slightly different manner than would an agency. Please consider adding representatives from high-ed in future conferences/discussions…. Slides way too wordy and difficult to read. I'm not sure what the leadership piece was doing in there other to fill time. The presenter/presentation was great, but it didn't apply to me or the accessibility role at all. The slideshow itself- many slides were unreadable by the sighted audience members (or had too much content to read in a short amount of time Less content in a single day with more opportunities for interactive learning.

10 Survey Results (Question 4): What other topics would you like to see presented in the future? Q4. Selected Comments More sharing of examples of how agencies are expanding their accessibility compliance - processes & tools A separate/additional technical track would be great. Leadership skills and some actual examples. IHE accessibility considerations. More examples from other state or us Federal ie IDEAS 508 conference and CAP@DAD's at center Any topics on accessibility will be valuable. So many times I hear "Yes, but has anybody actually been sued?" Give me some data to respond. More resources to help educate agency management Examples, Case studies, would be very helpful --> Product demonstrations from users Build up the panel. The more user experience shared the better. Expand to more types of disabilities than just eye and hearing impairment. There are others out there who do not have accessibility due to their disabilities--paraplegics. How do we get the momentum going and keep it going? Expand on how some agencies are evangelizing accessibility within their organizations. Are they providing classes, one on one trainings, online demos? Which approaches work best? We know how important accessibility is and we've implemented a remediation plan - how do we keep moving forward - what's next? Have a central site on DIR where EIR Coordinators can see common issues and recommend solutions - from the disabled member's perspective, as well as non-disabled members.

11 Survey Results (Question 5): General Comments Excellent program; very helpful - well worth my time. Thanks for offering. everyone did a good job. Great day. Thanks! Great conference Very Good - THANKS!!! Well done! Thank you! Thanks for pulling this together Great conference and resources! Thank You. Great info at a great time. Thank you for hosting this. Thanks for putting it all together Q5. Selected Comments Need to pay attention to the time. Panel discussion ran over & you're still taking questions. Thank you for hosting this. It was courageous to try out the Talking Communities technology even though it had a few problems. I appreciate all the good information Great work and very well organized. Well worth my trip to Austin. I plan on implementing several of these ideas in my organization Women's restroom smells like raw sewage Extremely unpleasant. Conference room very nice. Lunch facilities nice. Listening to people read bulletted powerpoints is worse than death. liked the short topics, very good idea, sort of like commercials Thank you so much for holding this conference. I greatly appreciate the training DARS & DIR give the rest of the agencies. Good conf. Learned some things about accessibility I didn't realize. Helped to understand the importance of the subject from a different point of view. It would be much better if DIR came up w/accessibility policy and testing templates, vender VATs etc. Never understand why all the agencies have to invent the wheel themselves. A lot of the slides…were hard to read. Thanks for captioning. lots of people had questions and few were taken…. Good info & presentations & presenters were excellent… This is a very important topic and perhaps needs more time to do justice to it in terms of depth - perhaps a two days --> Great job guys. I saw some new faces today and I think that's probably the most valuable thing about the opportunity. I would like to review the agenda in advance of the meeting. This would help me know if additional staff members could benefit from the conference. I didn't see any IRM's there. Help us get them engaged and on board! This wasn't for IRM's, this was about how to talk / meet and engage IRM's, but they aren't getting it, they may need their own training. A lot of information to digest and plenty to think about as it relates to our own institutions - a noble goal that we all would like to achieve, but a significant challenge in current economic environment with competing priorities with reduced resources. Tried to cover too much information within a few hours and not enough breaks. This was a great conference! It was very well produced and I learned a lot. Great job! I am definitely looking forward to future trainings and seminars.
