3.  Samuel (1 Sam. 1:28; 2:11). › Prophet of the Lord (1 Sam. 3:19-21). › Judge in Israel (1 Sam. 7:15-17).  He learned to listen to God (1 Sam. 3:8-10).  Do we have hearts that say “I am ready and willing to hear whatever you have to say, Lord”?

4.  David (1 Sam. 17:32). › A cause worth defending (1 Sam. 17:26). › Believed God would deliver (1 Sam. 17:37).  Who among us will stand up and say “I will go before you and lead you to victory”?

5.  Nehemiah (Neh. 1:11; 5:14). › Genuinely concerned (Neh. 1:1-4). › Willing to serve in rebuilding (Neh. 2:3, 5).  Would you volunteer to be a leader in building up the household of the Lord?

6.  Hadassah (Esther 4:13-14). › Courageously accepted the responsibility to the risk of her own life (Esther 4:16).  When opportunity presents itself or when problems confront you, will you choose to lead?
