3. The Grace of God Grace – unmerited favor. Even though we don’t deserve it, God has bestowed His favor (ultimately salvation) on us.

20. What about faith only passages? Eph. 2:8-9, Again, the context is grace! Paul’s point is we cannot EARN our salvation! Even when you obey God you have not earned salvation (it is still His grace)

21. What about faith only passages? What about passages that only mention belief? John 3:16, 8:24, Acts 4:4, 9:42, etc. They do NOT nullify baptism. The term “believe” is inclusive of all one must do.

22. What about faith only passages? What if every text dealing with salvation had to mention every step every time? The Bible would be much longer and redundant. And it wouldn’t say anymore than it does right now!

23. What about faith only passages? IF believe means, “only believe” or “faith only”, then what about all the other passages in scripture that mention MORE than mere belief? IF believe or faith can be inclusive, then scripture complements itself!
