2. Ch. 7 Summary The next morning, Jamie and Claudia went out early in order to rent their post box at Grand Central Station and mail their letter to the museum. Renting the post box is a lot more expensive than Jamie was comfortable with ($4.50 for 3 months) but, in the end, Claudia convinces Jamie that they need to spend the money and then Jamie convinces Claudia that it would be better to deliver the letter in person to the museum; that way they would have an answer faster and save the cost of a stamp.

3. Ch. 7 Summary Once back in the museum, Jamie and Claudia decide to find a messenger for their letter, as having one of them appear in person in the museum office just wouldn't do as they were both worried that they would be recognized by Jamie’s own classmates.

5. Ch. 8 Important Details After another laundry trip, Jamie and Claudia go to Grand Central Station and their post box. When they arrived, they looked into the little window and saw that there was nothing there for them. They strolled down the streets of New York and found themselves in front of the United Nations building. Claudia and Jamie went into the UN building and decided to go on a tour. Even Jamie didn't mind paying $.50 each for a tour of an interesting building.

6. Ch. 8 Details Their guide was a woman from India and Claudia enjoyed watching her walk in her sari; enjoyed it so much that, after the tour, Claudia started walking just like her. Jamie's favorite part was being able to wear headphones and listen to any language he chose. They realized that they had stayed in the museum for a week already

9. Neither Condivi nor Vasari, Michelangelo’s biographers who knew him personally mention the master carving this little angel; they mention only the angel carved for the altar in Siena. However, in a letter he wrote to his father from Rome on August 19, 1497, Michelangelo mentions “… I keep to myself, and I am sculpturing an image for my own pleasure.” In the past experts have believed the imaged which he sculptured for his own pleasure to be a cupid. Now, we must examine the possibility that it was an angel. The problem of Angel has now become a matter for consensus. Four Americans, two Englishmen, and one German, all of whom are experts on the techniques of Michelangelo have thus far examined the statue. We are presently awaiting the arrival of two more experts from Florence, Italy. After all of these experts have examined the statue, we will write a summary of their opinions which we will release to the press.
