3. 29 walks offered each month Wednesday mornings Weekends: 9:30, 12:30, 2 (+1 more in summer) Certain holidays i.e. Boxing Day, New Year, Family Day Variety of topics on nature interpretation, trail skills, benefits of trail walking, painting and photography and more +/- 55 current volunteers Walk leaders and ambassdors Training includes oHike Ontario Safe Hiker and Certified Hike Leader oStandard First Aid and On-trail scenarios oPublic Speaking oRouge Park Interpretation o Natural Heritage Protection

5. Natural surface trails give us the chance to track wildlife who have crossed the path

7. Many of the 225 species of birds found in Rouge Park can be seen directly from the trail

8. Fall Colours explode in abundance. Guided walks on Rouge Park’s trails immerse visitors in golden hues without the long drive to northerly locales.

9. Uniformed volunteer walk leaders bring their own skills, experience and personality to their outings. Each walk takes on its own character.

10. Trailhead signs with information on the Park’s code of conduct, safety and way- finding, plus meeting point signs, help visitors know they are in the right place
