A completed bid form must include: Name of the park. Design Base Plan (blueprint/map) of the park. (Stamping: area and perimeter) Number all items on the Design Base Plan of the park. Design Base Plan legend (on a separate sheet of paper) to name and describe all numbered attractions and items on the drawing.
9
Include at a minimum 6 rides, attractions, shops or stations. Be sure to name and give a brief description of each. Fill out the Park Bid Figuring out surface area can help you do things like paint objects or calculate how much fabric is needed to cover a stage entrance. Include a Front Gate and Restrooms. Your proposal must include data collection as well picture documentation of leg-oh model structures (3d). Show all work on each part of the data collection outline.
10
Your team will create a bid for an epic outdoor event space. Your bid should include the data collection sheet. Bid presentations will begin at 11:00am February 5. You will have 10 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes to respond to questions. All inquiries regarding this bid process should be directed to Valerie Blackburn. Good Luck!

LEG-OH Stamping
17
The Murray Amusement Corp is very excited that your group is going send in a proposal. In the first task the design team will need to create a design that will optimize space and be appealing to our clients.
18
Your team will stamp a base plan design. In the park we would like to have many different Structures in a variety of shapes. (Examples: baseball diamond, Farris wheel, Concession stand, pool, Slide.) The corporation would like to See at minimum a rectangle, triangle, circle, trapezoid and 2 composite figures. Your team will need To measure (in centimeters) all of your structures and calculate the perimeter and area of each.
19
This information needs to be recorded on the data collection sheet. Please include your base plan design in your Bid.

LEG-OHLEG-OH Volume
22
The Murray Corporation is very interested to see the structures that each group will be proposing. Using the base plan that was created in the Stamping Workshop, each group will need to create several 3-dimensional structures. There needs to be a minimum of six three- dimensional shapes: trapezoidal prism, rectangular pyramid, triangular prism, cylinder, and two composite shapes.
23
The measurements of each structure will need to be recorded. Then groups will find the volume of each newly designed model in cubic centimeters and cubic meters. Once the volume of the models is found, the number will be multiplied by a factor of 75 to give a realistic estimate of the amount of concrete that will be used to build the structure. A summary of each structure’s volume, as well as, the amount of concrete needed for each structure will need to be included in the bid.
24
Make sure to take a picture of each three- dimensional shape and place it within the summary.
26
LEG-OH Surface Area
27
The Murray Corporation would like for you to include a data collection sheet with your bid. Use the stamping base plan and choose at least six structures that you wish to cover. You may wish to paint your objects or cover them with a material. After you choose how to decorate your structures, complete the data collection sheet.
28
When you are finished, complete the Reflection paper. Be sure to divide the work evenly so all students share the workload. Don’t forget to reference the rubric to make sure that your team is on the right track.
29
The Murray Corporation is so excited that you are moving forward with your bid!
