Notes and Discussion – Motif (Ms. Stephens) Relate the motif of the mockingbird to the characters thus far in the story. Relation of this motif to the title of the novel. 3. Homework – (Mrs. Conway) A supplemental nonfiction reading piece will be provided to clarify the information presented in the Scottsboro Trials PowerPoint. Due next class. 4.
