1. I was born in Iowa and now live in Spring Lake. Married to Becky for 23 years. Jacob is 19, and is attending Muskegon Community College. Audrey is 18, and is a freshman at Asbury University in Kentucky. Luke is 17, and is a junior at Spring Lake High School.

2. Education Graduated from East Moline Christian High School in Illinois. Graduated from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science and a secondary teaching degree with a major in history and minor in psychology. Completed an additional endorsement in group social studies at Grand Valley State University.
