Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly,and Petition Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for redress of grievances.

Bearing Arms All citizens can carry a gun with a license

Quartering of Troops No soldier in time of peace be quarterd in any house

Searches and Seizures The right to secure in any person’s house against unreason able searches

Criminal Proceedings No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise in-famous crime, or indictment of grand jury

Civil Trials If being sued by common law, right to trial in front of a jury is preserved

Punishment For Crimes Excessive bail, fines, or cruel punishment is not allowed

Unenumerated Rights Certain rights cant be denied

Powers reserved to the states Rights reserved for the states

The first amendment is important because everyone wants the right to say how they feel and practice whatever religion they want

The second amendment is important so because people should have the right to protect themselves legally

The third amendment is important because the police should not be allowed to search anyone’s home without a warrant

The fourth amendment is important because nobody should get a cruel punishment for a petty crime

The fifth amendment is important because nobody wants to have to appear in front of a jury for every crime
16
The sixth amendment is important because excessive punishments are not necessary
17
The seventh amendment is important because people might try to abuse their rights
18
The ninth amendment is important because people should not have to take care of any soliders
19
The eighth amendment is important because states should have their own rights to
