Calculus Statistics Mathematics UE Approved Subjects: Mathematics, Science & Technology Science Biology Chemistry Physics Earth & Space Science There is a similar situation in Technology with 5 possible UE Subjects; Generic Technology Construction and Mechanical Technology Design and Visual Communication Digital Technology Processing Technology Science

3. StatisticsCalculus Mathematics WASHUP 87 15 Student gains 8 credits in Calculus and 7 in Statistics. Insufficient to gain either Calculus or Statistics. The qualifications check will combine the credits to make 15 credits in Mathematics. = one approved UE subject.

4. CalculusStatistics Mathematics SPILLOVER 20 24 14 16 The students gains 44 credits in the Maths domain. - 20 credits in Calculus - 24 credits in Statistics. The qualifications check will redistribute the credits so the student gains 3 approved subjects Calculus – 14 credits Statistics – 14 credits Mathematics 16 credits Total: 44 credits The approved Mathematics subjects contains all the Calculus and Statistics standards.
