Location Absolute location—A specific measured point using longitude, and latitude. Examples: Equator Prime Meridian Relative location-Where things are located relative to other things

Place Physical Characteristics Mountains, Bodies of Water, deserts, plateaus, plains Cultural Characteristics language, religions, customs

Human Environment Interaction How have people used their environment? How have people changed their environment?

Movement Movement of goods (imports, exports) Movement of people (migration, immigration) Movement of ideas (spread of religion, philosophies, culture etc…)

Regions A region is a group of places bound together by one or more similar characteristics. Physical regions Cultural regions Political regions
