5. 5 In order for a teacher’s primary evaluator to score his or her SLOs, the teacher must enter information into the “Results” and “Summary Statement” sections within the SLO Forms in the EPSS. The “Results” area should contain high level results that are in the same format as the original targets. The “Summary Statement” should describe the results in relation to the original targets. 10. 10 1.Evaluators assign a score for each of the eight components on the Teacher Professional Practice Rubric after each observation. 2.The individual component scores across observations will be averaged and rounded to the nearest tenth to get a summative score for each component. The score will always be from 4.0 (highest) to 1.0 (lowest). 3.The average scores for each component will be added together and rounded to the nearest whole number to get a total Teacher Professional Practice Rubric score. 11. 11 1.Evaluators assign a score each of the eight components on the Teacher Professional Foundations Rubric before the End-of-Year Conference. 2.Unlike the Professional Practice Rubric, the Professional Foundations Rubric is a 3- point rubric. 3.The individual components are scored holistically using evidence from the entire school year in addition to artifact evidence. 12. 12 1.Individual Student Learning Objectives are scored first by a review of targets and evidence. Individual SLO scoring categories include: Exceeded Met Nearly Met Not Met 2.After individual student learning objectives are scored, the Student Learning Objective Set Tables are used to determine an overall Student Learning Objective rating.
