What is Natural Selection? Reproduction and survival = FITNESS The MOST FIT population is the one with the most successful offspring! Natural Selection is a process by which Favorable traits (i.e increase fitness) passed on to the offspring will become more common. Unfavorable traits will become less common. Whatever works! ( ultimately increasing reproduction )
