14 3D Initiatives Theatrical: SPE will release several new films in 3D, including The Smurfs and the upcoming Spider-Man Digital Productions: SPE has produced stereoscopic 3D effects for more movies than any other studio including, most recently, Alice in Wonderland for Disney Home Entertainment: Introducing 3D titles on Blu-ray with release of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Television: Launching 3D network in 2011 in partnership with Discovery and IMAX Technology: Evaluating systems for new 3D production, creating and driving industry support of 3D authoring tools, technologies, and processes; launched with SCA the Sony 3D Technology Center to demonstrate Sony expertise in 3D content creation/manipulation 13
