3. The Akkadin Empire had many great achievements The Akkadian Empire was the first empire to conquer Mesopotamia. The king, Sargon, was a strong king, a skilled general and he had very effective military strategies. The Akkadians also had very nice art, they made 3-D shapes and they carved relief sculptures on stones called steles.
