Invite ESOL teacher to staff meeting to present informational PowerPoint and discuss Language and Content Objectives with teachers (32% stated that were not comfortable in this area). Collaborate with other schools to discuss content and technology use. This can be done through Edmodo groups, Google classroom, or school visits. If you have multiple administrators during after school meetings, break the teachers into groups to discuss content, technology, etc. based on their grade, subject, and/or familiarity. Suggest Kagan training to teachers who wish to increase classroom engagement. Newer websites, such as TeachersPayTeachers and Pinterest, provide a variety of methods to motivate students, integrate the arts into the classroom, and reading and writing skills. In an effort to complete cross curricular activities between the arts and the academics, a curriculum board may be displayed so grade level teachers and exploratory teachers may share what they are teaching.
