Economic Challenges Affecting Transfer at the CSU State support for the CSU has been cut by almost $1 billion or 35% over the past 18 months. – Student tuition increases cover over only ½ of cuts. – State resources are now equal to the 1996-1997 fiscal year; CSU enrolls 90,000 more students. The CSU will continue to focus on authentic access for students – Enrollment management approaches and strategies vary by campus – Resources and enrollment capacity highly dependent on outcomes of November election.
