2. I was born in Venice, Italy on June 5, 1664 Mastered Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Spanish, French, and Arabic. Also did well in astronomy and mathematics. Applied for Doctorate of Theology but was not allowed because of me being a woman. Later received a job as being Doctorate of Philosophy. On June 25, 1678 I received a degree for Doctorate of Philosophy. I was the first woman to receive a degree. After receiving my degree, I devoted myself to charity. Last few years of my life, I focused on learning and helping the needy. I died at the age of 38. My writings were published after my death.
