2
A - angle Angle :is the measure of a turn or the endpoint where two lines intersect
3
B - Base Base: is the term Base is used to refer to a given mathematical entity that is used as a building block. This is the base
4
C -constant Constant : is a term used for equations or answers that will not change regardless of the type of question it is pertaining to.
5
D - diameter Diameter :is a line which connects two points of the circle. It is also twice the Radius, which is from the center for the circle, to the edge.
6
E - evaluate Evaluate: is when an expression is simplified as much as it can be. This is evaluate
7
F - fraction Fraction : represents a part of a whole or, more generally, any number of equal parts.
8
G - geometry Geometry : is all about shapes and their properties.
9
H - hypotenuse Hypotenuse : it is the side of a right angled triangle opposite to the right angle.
10
I - isolate Isolate : to set apart or cut off from others, that is to separate the variables. This is isolate
11
J - joint Justification: A statement explaining and defending a solution for a question. For example: 2x-5=5 2x=10 X=5 5 is the correct answer, The justification is: 2(5)-5=5 10-5=5 5=5 Answer is justified.
12
K - kilogram Kilogram : is a weight units to measure the weight
13
L - linear Linear : makes reference to linear algebra
14
M – model Model : used to refer to a mathematical model which is the description of a system by use of mathematical language
15
N – numerical coefficient Numerical coefficient : is the constant multiplicative factors attached to the variables in a mathematical expression.
16
O – order of rotation Order of rotation :is the shape or image can be rotated and it still looks the same.
17
P – polygon Polygon : its is a closed plane shape which is made up of many line sections which are joined together, and sides do not cross each other, with two sides meeting exactly at every vertex.
18
Q - quotient Quotient : is the result or answer to a division problem.
19
R – rotational Rotational : is a motion of a certain space that preserves at least one point.
20
S - symmetry Symmetry : is the property that something does not change under a set of transformations.
21
T – term Term : which may form a separable part of an equation, a series, or another expression
22
U – unlike terms Unlike term : terms which are not similar and cannot be grouped together.
23
V – variable Variable : is an alphabetic character representing a number which is either arbitrary or not fully specified or unknown. This is variable
24
W – whole number Whole number : simply the numbers, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …
25
X – x-axis X- axis : is the horizontal axis of a two-dimensional plot in Cartesian coordinates that is conventionally oriented to point to the right (left figure).
26
Y – y-axis Y- axis : The vertical axis of a two-dimensional plot in Cartesian coordinates.
27
Z – zero dimensional Zero dimensional : a zero-dimensional topological space is a topological space that has dimension zero with respect to one of several in equivalent notions of assigning a dimension to a given topological space.
