5. Classroom Expectations: Science Notebook Scholars are required to use a composition notebook for all scientific explorations. All classwork, labs, homework must be completed in the science notebook. All science notebooks should include: a table of contents with date, title, and page number.

6. Principal’s Book Club Scholars are encouraged to read 25 science related books by end of the school year.

7. Portfolio Pieces : 30% Ten Portfolio Pieces are necessary to excel to next grade.

8. Classwork and Labs: 30% Labs are essential to understanding scientific concepts. Scholars are expected to complete all labs in order to be successful in their science classes.

9. Test/ Exams/ Projects: 25% Pre Test Post Test Projects

10. Homework: 15% Homework is given 3x a week in Science
