6 Know your OHS Responsibilities Adhere to OHS Policy and Program Hold WHMIS certification Recognize OHS hazards in your workplace Use safety materials provided by the employer Take necessary precautions to ensure your own safety and for others Report work related accidents, illnesses and any OHS contraventions to your supervisor Cooperate with OHSC or OHSR 6

7 WORKPLACE VIOLENCE PREVENTION Senior local employer representative (SLER) provides training Identify control measures to prevent workplace violence Report cases of workplace violence Cooperate with cases of violence investigation 7

8 Prohibited at all times at workplace Possession or consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs Possession of firearms, unless authorized Fighting, horseplay Theft and vandalism Damage, disabling or interfering with safety, firefighting or first aid equipment 8

9 First-Aid & Emergency Measures SLER may solicit you as the first aid attendant and emergency warden Seek first aid assistance, in case of an injury from the designated attendant 9
