3 Topic Presentation: Introduction Topic Presentation: Final Draft Example Course: FSC189 Demonstrate a familiarity with a variety of research methodologies, including the library and Internet. Information Literacy: Locate, evaluate and use information from diverse sources in an effective and ethical manner.

4 Assignment: FAQs – Special Education Laws, Policies and Procedures Using information from IDEA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, course resources and, as needed, any relevant and reliable outside sources, consider your current or future role as a general education or special education teacher and develop a 10 item, multimedia “Frequently Asked Questions” presentation. Discussion: The Referral Process After reviewing the flow charts depicting the referral process as well as consulting your textbook for additional information about each step, discuss your thoughts on the effectiveness of the referral process. Example Course: EDC252 Examine major components of Special Education laws, policies, and procedures InTASC 9o: The teacher understands the expectations of the profession including codes of ethics, professional standards of practice, and relevant law and policy.
