GOALS & OBJECTIVES Students Will Be Able To: Navigate through a special website in order to find links and helpful hints for writing a bill and participating in Mini Model Congress Write a bill (proposed law) Present the bill for debate to a mock Congress Act as either a senator or representative in “a day as a lawmaker”

BRAINY BITS Reaches the Frontal Lobe most The frontal lobe is concerned with executing behavior. This ranges from the control of individual muscles in the primary motor cortex to high level abstract planning. Students need to see the big picture and provide details along the way of achieving their goals.
