1. 6. WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT?

2. Throughout the process of building my magazine I have learnt to use various different programmes and types of technology that I wouldn’t usually have the opportunity to use. However I feel I have used the programmes to my upmost ability.

3. EDU BLOGS Throughout the process of working on my magazine I have learnt how organise and use a blog properly. I am now able to creative pieces of work and post them online for others to see. I can upload text, pictures, polls, videos, audio, Prezi's and PowerPoints. This was one of the most important things I learnt how to do to help organise my work This button helped me to insert and embed things into my blog.

4. INDESIGN InDesign was completely new to me at the start of the course. Despite this I come to grips with the software and am able to use it well. Now I am able to use software to create an original piece of work. Below are some screen clippings from the software which I used. To make text Create a box Create lines Selecting things Change the colours Zoom in Change text style Change text to bold, italics etc. Text size Space between lines of text Makes text caps Underlines text Puts line through text Makes letters wider Slants text Pushes text line up Makes text taller Spaces letters out Changes the thickness of the lines Type of line

5. PHOTOSHOP Using Photoshop has taught me how to edit pictures in ways to help portray certain images and pictures in my magazine. Despite this I found the software hard to use at first as there are so many different things that you can do. However in the end I got to grips wit the software and could edit my picture to suit the magazine I wanted to design. Helped to make the picture darker to suit the image I wanted to portray. It also helped the definition of the colours. This took the colour of the pictures. This was used for the contents as well to make the image black and white. This was used to make the double page spread yellower

6. PREZI Joining the course was the reason that I discovered Prezi. Using this was good because you are essentially able to make a more exciting PowerPoint. The software was simple and easy to use. The only problem I found was that I couldn’t upload picture to the Prezi. This I don’t think was because of Prezi or it being complicated but because of the internet connection. Click in the box and type what you want This is how you would edit where the slides went

7. POWERPOINT I was already aware of PowerPoint before the course. However within the course I have been able to use new things like screen clipping to be able to show how I have used other programmes. Using the programme was very easy and straight forward. I can clip things off my screen to show what I did

8. SOUNDCLOUD I was aware of Soundcloud before coming onto the course. However I wasn’t aware of how to use it. Within the process of the course I have learnt how to upload audio clips to Soundcloud and then embed them into my blog.

9. YOUTUBE Using YouTube was extremely easy. I did this by simply uploading the video to the website and then embedding it into my blog. Despite the fact that I had never done this before it was extremely easy to use.
