1 Gorbachev was very popular with Western leaders, who respected him for his willingness to reform Communism, which led to the break-up of ___________ Europe. Part 1: Number them 1-10 in order of importance (1 = most important, 10 = least important) Part 2: Using three different colour pencils, explain whether each reason is political, economic or social (Make sure you fill in the key at the bottom). REMEMBER: Some reasons may apply to more than one cause. Another way to extend your thinking could be to shade each box mostly in one colour and a little in another (thus showing that the reason can apply to more than on cause, but that it’s more related to one than another).
