It builds Character, Resourcefulness, Patience and Intuition  Fencing demands considerable physical conditioning placing simultaneous demands on anaerobic strength and aerobic endurance  Fencing is a lifelong sport  For the accomplished fencer, scholarships are available for elite fencers.

7.  You do need to buy your own uniform, glove and mask, which costs about $200.
