2. Project Goal To increase the number of underrepresented individuals pursuing an advanced degree and remaining engaged in the field of HSR.

Project Objectives  To ascertain if there are barriers to entering HSR and identify these barriers  To learn what institutions are doing to address these barriers  To explore and evaluate if a doctoral fellowship would help increase diversity in HSR  To evaluate the need for and identify a national strategy to promote HSR
