6.  This class will help prepare you for the required English course, ENC1101—so you don’t have to take the remedial class.  Not only will you be able to write for your college English courses but for all other courses you will have to write essays.  You will know the proper way to cite sources and give credit where credit is due when using resources for research, etc.
