Power School Access your grades online anytime! See your current grades for your classes. See the assignments you are missing! Do you know where to find Power School and how to access it?

Click “enter PowerSchool” to log in.

Power School Log in Use your Student Web ID and Password to log in. See your Seminar teacher if you need to be reminded what they are. (They are attached to the lesson plan.)

Can’t stay after school? ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTER is for you! When: Monday through Thursday When: During lunch and after school (2:45-3:45) Where: Library Who: Any 9 th or 10 th grade student who is failing a class. A teacher may refer you or you can just drop in. There is a bus to take you home and leaves from the front steps at 3:50 p.m.

Check your Power School grades often! Don’t be surprised by your grades, check them often. Be proactive and talk to your teacher if you are struggling, missing, or don’t understand something. We are here to help you, but you have to be willing to do the work!

Grit & Perseverance What does grit and perseverance mean and how does that relate to school and your grades? Please distribute and take the Grit Scale Survey. Respond to all 17 items by circling the number response that best fits you. Be honest– there are no right or wrong answers! Turn to the back of the sheet and follow the directions for scoring. When you are done scoring, you should have scores for Grit, Perseverance, and Ambition.

Scoring Talk about your scores! What do you think each of the scores mean to you? How does it feel to have that score? Do you think you should have a different score? How does this relate to school and life?
