As a group we will tell a story around the drama circle, one sentence per person. Aims: To accept and build on each persons idea. Really try to build previous ideas into your contribution to make the story flow.

One volunteer sits in the centre of the circle. The goal is to make the person laugh by saying “I love you honey but I just can’t smile!” The person in the middle must reply with “I love you too”. Think about imaginative use of voice and gesture. If you laugh when trying to make the central person laugh you must sit in the centre. No touching!

In groups of 4/5; You will each be given a television genre (EG. hospital drama, soap opera, cop drama, adverts, cookery show, DIY homes show). Very quickly thought shower ideas for each genre. You have 3 minutes to plan what you might do. The teacher will then flick between different TV channels. You must stop and start depending on which channel is being watched.
